Current Developments

Cowie Capital has been involved in all aspects of the development industry, including expansion of existing assets, ground-up development, large-scale mixed-use site planning, and land re-zoning development projects. The majority of Cowie Capital’s development projects are completed through its affiliated construction management and contracting company, Kelfield Inc.

Self Storage Expansion Projects

As an operator of Self Storage, we are equipped to internally manage the construction process through our General Contracting Company, Kelfield Inc. We have completed three large expansions to our existing facilities and build new self storage buildings through direct investment and with our joint venture partners.

Land Development

We manage approximately 200 acres of industrial land in Guelph, and are currently in the process of finalizing the plan of subdivision, site servicing, and expect to have serviced land ready for sale in 2023, with parcel sizes ranging from 5 to 25 Acres. The project is branded as Southgate Business Park, and owned by Industrial Equites Guelph, a company set up to manage the project with our external investors.

Industrial and Office Fit Outs

We internally manage the build out and fit out process on behalf of our tenants. We have completed office and industrial fit outs ranging from 1,500 sq.ft to 60,000 sq.ft. Internally managing these projects allows our firm to reduce cost on behalf of our tenants.
